I love photography because of its eloquence. Photography captures beauty in the ordinary; it glimpses a moment and turns it into a lyric; it stops time long enough to show us what we would otherwise miss. It's the study of life as much as art. There are boundaries, but the possibilities within them are endless. I take a moment in time that exists regardless of me and I create something new, articulate meaning.
Born in Australia, I studied photography at college and university level, as well as film, writing, painting and sculpture. As a commercial photographer, I'm committed to producing first rate work in all environments, whether they be still, staged or fast moving. I'm extremely motivated and work to a very high personal standard. Imperative to my success is an acute awareness of my surroundings and subjects, understanding that the best photographic opportunities are available for a matter of seconds. In essence, it's the task of capturing lightning in a bottle - requiring skill, resourcefulness, adaptability and creativity. My clients include weddings, corporations, charities, fashion retailers and models.
